Of the 8 companies confirmed to serve Waltham overall, 7 confirm offering Termite Control specifically. All 7 are ranked below on the same 6-category rubric used across Solvo Index, sorted by confidence tier first, then Solvo Score.
This filters Waltham's own confirmed roster by service. For the hub-wide Termite Control ranking across all of Boston Metro, see the full comparison.
Badges are single-fact superlatives among these 7, each tied to one sourced number, never a blended score. Not a competition for #1: a company can hold more than one.

GreenHow is the only company confirmed for Waltham with a Verified operating profile: Solvo reads its active customer count, recurring-plan rate, and customer tenure directly from its own connected system. It holds 208 Google reviews at a 4.9 Bayesian-adjusted rating, an MA Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate plus GreenPro and QualityPro certification, and a no-contract satisfaction guarantee.
Strengths: The only Verified profile confirmed for Waltham: 4,561 active customers, a 90.1% recurring-plan rate, and 5.3-year average customer tenure, figures no other company here can currently show. Its own service-area page confirms coverage across 8 Boston Metro towns (Boston, Newton, Waltham, Dedham, Somerville, Watertown, Belmont, Chestnut Hill).
Weaknesses: GreenHow's own service-area page also lists Milton and Quincy, outside the Boston Metro hub's tracked cities, and it still doesn't offer Wildlife Control or Bed Bug Service, which excludes it from those two service rankings entirely.
Braman posts the highest raw Solvo Score of any company confirmed for Waltham: a 4.8 Bayesian-adjusted rating from 993 Google reviews, QualityPro, GreenPro, and LEED certifications, a Connecticut pest management license, and a no-contract satisfaction guarantee.
Strengths: Full marks in Track Record, Local Market Strength, and Service Capability; the most named certifications of any HIGH-confidence company confirmed for Waltham.
Weaknesses: The company's own listed years-in-business figure (136) is not plausible for this trade and has not been independently re-verified, flagged here rather than silently corrected or dropped. Its confirmed cities skew heavily toward Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont; Waltham is one of 11 confirmed cities, not a core market. No published pricing.
Our Take: A strong raw score built on real evidence, but the years-in-business figure needs a source check before this entry should be read as fully reliable, and a Waltham household should confirm direct coverage rather than assuming it from the regional footprint.
The largest review base of any company confirmed for Waltham: 1,127 Google reviews and 91 Yelp reviews at a 4.9 Bayesian-adjusted rating, with a confirmed recurring-plan option.
Strengths: Highest Customer Reputation score of any company confirmed for Waltham, backed by well over a thousand combined reviews.
Weaknesses: Consumer Trust is its lowest score (2/10): no satisfaction guarantee or contract terms could be sourced, only a recurring plan. Licensing is confirmed as a bare "Yes" with no license number.
Our Take: The review volume and rating here are the strongest confirmed for Waltham; ask directly about guarantee and cancellation terms before signing, since the public record has little to go on there.
51 confirmed years in business, the longest plausible operating history of any company confirmed for Waltham, with 373 Google and 61 Yelp reviews at a 4.5 Bayesian-adjusted rating.
Strengths: Full Track Record and Service Capability marks; a long, confirmed operating history.
Weaknesses: The only top-3 company confirmed for Waltham that requires a contract, a real Consumer Trust drag; licensing is confirmed as a bare "Yes" with no license number.
Our Take: A long-running, well-reviewed operator; worth directly asking about contract terms before signing, since that's the one place it trails Assurance and Braman.
States use of EPA-registered products and Massachusetts-licensed technicians for restricted-use and eco-friendly treatments, confirmed to serve Newton among 9 towns.
Strengths: Full Local Market Strength and Service Capability marks, published pricing.
Weaknesses: No review data, no years-in-business, and no named license number could be sourced, half the rubric's evidence fields are blank (50% evidence completeness).
A newer operator confirmed to serve a wide footprint including Newton, Cambridge, Framingham, and Worcester.
Strengths: Full Local Market Strength marks and broad confirmed service capability despite its age.
Weaknesses: The shortest confirmed operating history of any company on this page (about 1 year); no review data sourced; only a recurring plan confirmed, no satisfaction guarantee or contract terms.
States operation since 1981 and offers a satisfaction guarantee, confirmed to serve Newton among 5 towns.
Strengths: Full Local Market Strength marks and a long stated operating history.
Weaknesses: No review data, no licensing detail, and no confirmable years-in-business figure despite the 1981 founding claim, only 38% evidence completeness, the lowest of any company on this page. Customer Reputation, Credentials, and Track Record are all entirely blank.
Same rubric as every page on Solvo Index: six weighted categories, scored 0–10 against fixed anchors, combined into a Solvo Score (0–100, capped at 97.0). Evidence Completeness sets Confidence Tier: HIGH (90%+), MEDIUM (70–89%), LOW (below 70%). A connected operating system carries a Verified tier above HIGH. Every ranked company, including #1, carries at least one published weakness.
